Week 14: A Rad Week on the Farm

We hope you all loved your pumpkins! They are officially on the online store now. If you didn’t pick yours up last week, we’ll be sending them out again this week. We also have butternuts and kabochas coming down the pike, they’ll be coming out of the field soon!

We’ve added a few new fall items to the store this week: celery, pie-pita pumpkins, and French breakfast radishes. Don’t let the size of the celery fool you, farm-fresh celery packs a much bigger punch than anything you’ll find at the grocery store.

This week’s share will include:
• 5oz bag of salad
• Green onion
• Red cabbage
• French breakfast radish

Eat them, roast them, or sauté them, it doesn’t matter! These radishes are delicious no matter how you prepare them. They’re milder and sweeter than the typical red, round radish while still keeping that hint of peppery bite, making them perfect for enjoying their tender and mild flavor.
